Your role:

Given the diverse range of interventions, the expansive team, highly complex patients, varied work locations, and diverse services, each day (or night) brings its own unique challenges. 

The day begins with the preparation of the Operating Room (OR), involving tasks such as readying all necessary equipment, conducting respiratory equipment tests, and preparing essential medications. Collaborating with the anesthetist (I.O.), you discuss the patient’s plan and specific needs. Given the intricacy of procedures and the complexity of patients, anesthesia is custom-tailored, making your work both challenging and a continuous avenue for professional development. 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree obtained in an EU/EEA country. 
  • EU nationality. 
  • Preferably in the possession of a nursing specialist degree in anesthetics or has several years of proven experience as a healthcare professional anesthetist. 
  • High level of work ethic, adaptability and cooperativeness with other colleagues. 
  • A2/B1 level of English. 

Employment conditions

 

  • Before obtaining the Dutch nursing registration, an initial gross annual salary starting approx. €27.348,00 (up until €39.312,00) based on 36 hours per week according to the Dutch Labor Agreement for Hospitals (CAO NVZ-FWG 35). 
  • After obtaining the Dutch nursing registration, an initial gross annual salary starting at approx. €33.984,00 (up until €45.888,00) based on 36 hours per week according to the Dutch Labor Agreement for Hospitals (CAO NVZ-FWG 45). 
  • 22.5 vacation days (based on a 36-hour work week). 
  • Holiday Pay and Year-end Bonus. 
  • Free Dutch language course, accommodation, and meals at Academia Neerlandesa.
